Interiores 1st Anniversary Party

Image  It has been nearly a year since Sue and Simon from INTERIORS in Puente Don Manuel made their move from the smaller outlet to across the road into their 220 meters “Home Store”. Sue explained “it’s the best move we ever made. It was risky due to the amount of extra investment needed for stock, rent and accessories. However, it was worth it – the store has really succeeded beyond our expectations”

INTERIORES spent its first 18 months as a shop containing Indian furniture and a few accessories. Last November Sue and Simon took on their current premises in between G&T’s and the fish and chip shop in Puente Don Manuel. With a huge increase in shop floor space Sue was able to showcase her interior design talents. A number of beds are displayed in total bedroom settings with beside cabinets, pictures, lamps, mirrors, throws and cushions. Sue displays the furniture in different styles, giving you a great idea as to what can be created in your own home. In fact, Sue has just finished providing a customer with a ‘Changing Rooms’ experience. This particular customer had bought everything from INTERIORES for the sitting/dinning room including furniture, pictures, cushions, lamps etc. however the lady was a bit nervous about being able to display the items well, so Sue offered to come to her home and help. The customer was exceptionally pleased with the end result and has gone on to order furniture and accessories for 3 further bedrooms which Sue has volunteered to add her touch to once more.

It is a pleasure to wander round the shop exploring the various ranges of shabby chic lamps, carved mirrors, cabinets, tables, shelves and much more, although, there will be even more lines in soon as Sue is attending the Madrid Trade Fair and promises to bring back even more stock in time for the anniversary party and indeed for the Christmas present buying months. In fact, last year on English women bought all her Christmas presents, which were all gifted and wrapped at INTERIORS. She amongst others will be returning this year where gifts will be available form 3 Euros.

One of the most popular small items stocked by INTERIORS is the wine bottle covers. They retail at 3 euros and whilst I was in the store a woman came in to order 5 this was already to be added to the order of 50 that Sue had accumulated while waiting for stock to arrive!!

Finally, to celebrate this successful last year, INTERIORES are holding a 1st anniversary party on Saturday 3rd November, 10am until 2.00pm with 10% off everything and a complementary buffet and drinks available. My advice is to get there early, as if their opening party last year is anything to go by stock went very quickly.
