In the warm water they reproduce rapidly and then the problem of algae appears. In addition, the pool becomes polluted by dust particles, foliage and seeds and they too add to the problem of water contamination. It's unavoidable and if incorrectly managed, your swimming pool can become a serious health hazard for bathers.
Ensuring that the filtration equipment is functioning correctly and maintaining the correct chemical levels such as chlorine, which disinfect the water and the Ph integrity, which at too high levels can cause filtration problems and at low levels can lead to corrosive action affecting the eyes and mucus membranes. Look for the tell tale signs such as the water turning green or having a milky appearance, this is a good indication that something is wrong.
A structural breakdown may also be a reason for the pool having problems and would take a specialist eye to identify a fault. If you have any concerns and are not sure what to do, then seek advice.
