Clear your diaries !! A fashion show is being held at Chiringuito Antonio, Puente don Manuel on Friday 16th April and ENTRANCE IS FREE !! The show will commence at 10.30 am and our glamorous selection of ladies will be modelling items that can be purchased from the various market stalls found every Friday at the great Chiringuito Antonio market. From beach wear, to day wear, to evening wear market chic is coming to Puente !! In these times of threatened double dip recession it is refreshing to know that spring and summer wardrobes can be updated with a selection of items from the global markets. Mysterious India, colourful China, and glamorous Spain are teamed up with some good old favourites from the UK for a fraction of the high street cost. We aim to demonstrate that our colourful and inexpensive ranges are just what are needed to boost wardrobes and recession weary spirits here in beautiful Andalucía. There are gorgeous bikinis, a vast selection of kaftans in a range of vibrant colours, suits, beautiful dresses, skirts, trousers, knitwear, blouses jumpsuits, evening stoles, trendy and traditional handbags, belts, stunning jewellery and everything you could possibly want in a vast range of fabrics and designs, catering for women of all ages and sizes. The models will also be showcasing the range of stylish and inexpensive shoes that the market has to offer – from heels, to flip flops and accessorized with a range of the great handbags, scarves and stunning jewellery on offer at our stalls.
There will be live music and the day promises to be an exciting one. A raffle will be held with brilliant prizes donated by the stallholders (tickets will be free with each purchase over 5 Euros.) For those intellectuals amongst us (!) there will be a paper quiz with a generous cash prize. There are refreshments on site and many stalls including English food, fresh home baked pies and cakes, pet provisions, fruit and veg, men`s clothing, beautiful hand-knitted baby clothes, bedding, books, stationery, hardware and kitchenware, a large selection of Spanish and English make up and beauty products, the ever-popular Kopykats perfumes, an onsite hairdresser and nail specialist. So why not come along, sit and relax and watch the show and see what we have to offer – we know you will be pleasantly surprised.
