After the success of the 1st Art Route of Frigiliana 2017, this year will be the 2nd edition of this walk full of art through the beautiful streets of Frigiliana: 31 locations and more than 50 artists of different nationalities, giving life to a route that will allow you to view different styles and disciplines from the hand of the artists themselves. Come and enjoy it from the 5th to the 7th of October 2018 from 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 8pm.
This year the Art walk of Frigiliana has grown and the proposal is more extensive. If you enjoyed last year, you'll love it this time.
You will discover a wide variety of medias, techniques and styles: painting, sculpture, photography, collage, mixed media, mosaic, engraving, drawing, ceramics, live portrait and even, a large metal and movement installation, whose creator is the artist Merel Holleboom (location n.9): A drawing machine that will make the public interact to create their own art works using it, concentration and another type of communication more subtle than speech.
You will have also the opportunity to attend the tutored life drawing workshops by the artist Hilary Mullany (location n.21) on Friday the 5th and Sunday and 7th. 10€ fee. Places are limited and you will have to make reservations by email: hislapinture@msn.com
Once again we want to emphasize the diversity present in our second art walk, we have more than 50 artists from eleven different nationalities, each one with their own style and technique, joined by art in Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. And you will have the opportunity to meet them personally, chat with them, share with them your thoughts and curiosities and get to know their way of working.
To discover the treasures that each artist holds, we will put at your disposal information brochures with a map where you can find the locations of the 31 exhibitions, a picture of the artist and an example of their work.
Thanks to all the people and partnerships that have supported us and helped make this art walk possible. It has grown into an annual event for residents, participants and visitors.

The brochures with the maps and the locations will be available at the tourist office and distributed by the commercial premises in the area. Also you will find them in the artist locations on the route.
