Mel at EGO is now offering “Pamper Nights” and instead of Mel explaining the idea to me we decided to hold one so I could experience it first hand! All you need is a minimum of six people and a venue. Whoever volunteers to be host and provides a few nibbles will then receive a discount on the treatments from Mel. The cost is 15 euro per person to everyone but the host and this gives you two treatments throughout the evening. That is the basic idea but what you make of the night in, is really up to you! Six of us organised this evening last month and the host was selected through convenience and location to all the group. We all brought a bottle of wine and a few nibbles but Lisa, the host, layed on a fab spread of pizzas and dips and Alison had made a chocolate cake for us to finish with …. perfect food for a girlie night in! Mel brought all her kit from the Salon including her treatment table so we could properly relax. Mel laid out her treatment menus on the table for us to choose from Careful consideration was given to this while enjoying a few drinks first! Menu 1 included Mini facial, Mini manicure or Mini pedicure. Menu 2 included Eye lash tint, Eyebrow tint, Eyebrow shape or Hand mask with massage. You could choose 1 treatment from each section this allowed Mel to treat each person over the course of the evening effectively so as one person was soaking or drying she could move onto someone else. All of us chose different treatments although the mini facial proved most popular. I didn’t ask for this one however it looked extremely relaxing and soothing. I would suggest having this early on in the evening due to the risk of nodding off later after a few drinks and the massage!!I I chose an eyelash tint and a mini manicure, both things I don’t usually have done, so the evening was a real treat for me too. The eyelash tint went well and has lasted for more than a couple of weeks. I did wake up the next morning thinking i hadn’t taken my make up off so I did definitely notice the difference. The mini manicure was great my nails have never looked so good! Mel worked well between us all while we sat about drinking, laughing and eating. Marina had an eye brow tint which gave her eye brows great definition she really did look fab along with her manicure she looked set to go out on the town! The party was a real success we all had a fun time whist feeling relaxed and more beautiful than we arrived. Mel is happy to come to anyone’s house for a party as long as there is a minimum of six people. If anybody prefers she is happy to host a party at the Salon although the minimum number still applies. The idea is to have a girlie night in but there is no reason why after being pampered you cant go out. It could also be a nice idea to invite Mel to provide treatments where a few friends are getting ready together before a party, wedding or special occasion.
