Just inside Chiringuito Antonio’s (location of the Tuesday Farmers market), Puente Don Manuel is the new location of Ink and Media supplies now named Compuprint run by Andy and Keith.
Andy has been in Spain 2 and ½ years and initially sold computer consumables, papers and accessories round the markets. He then formed a permanent base from The Furniture Studio in Puente don Manuel. Here the business really took off which then lead to the move to his own premises in Chriniguito Antonio.
Andy brought his computer experience, suppliers and contacts to Spain. However, it was ink cartridges that got him going first! Everyone he knew ordered ink cartridges on-line which inevitably took time to come if they came at all. It was then he got in touch with his suppliers and shipped a variety of ink cartridges to Spain which sold very well, as he knew they would. I talked to
Andy for about an hour in his shop and he must have sold at least 5 ink cartridges amongst other things in that time.
Keith came into the business about a month ago more by chance than a business plan. Once Andy opened up his business at Chringuito Antonio, Keith used to pass by a lot as his wife had opened up a clothes shop next door. Andy and Keith got talking and it became apparent that a working relationship could be established.
Keith has been in Spain 3 years and in the UK he built and repaired computers along with building websites. He had continued this line of work in Spain but on a mobile basis rather than with a shop outlet. It only seemed natural to join forces with Keith to provide a one stop shop. With Keith’s knowledge and Andy’s contacts they provide a great team in selling computers and their accessories, providing repairs and a number of other services. They have the ability to print on the premises, business cards, flyers and brochures.
They also have secure post boxes on site and for 70 Euros a year they collect the post for you and keep it safe.
