Firstly and most importantly, we hope that everyone is safe and remains fit and well. The last few months have been difficult, but it looks like the strict Covid-19 restrictions are slowing being lifted and hopefully everyone can get back to a life that maybe looks a bit more like normal!
During the restrictions, most of our local businesses were forced to temporary shutdown in order to stop the spread of the virus. At Axarfusion we too had to close our offices for a while. Being classed as one of the “Essential Services” even when the office was closed, we were able to continue working to maintain our network.
We really do know how important it has been to stay connected during the “lock down”. Keeping this in mind, our team at Axarfusion have been working hard to improve our services. Guaranteeing continued internet, TV, Landline and Mobile services to all our customers.
Just to give you an idea of how much more internet people have been using over the last few months. Europe has seen up to and over an 80% increase in usage at peak times, over 50% increase in mobile telephone calls and over 136% increase in landline calls. For all internet and service providers, big or small this has been a huge challenge.
At Axarfusion we are continuously upgrading our core and distribution network to make sure we can handle increases in internet demand. During this period, we have continued our upgrades enabling us to provide higher speeds to all our fibre optic clients in Competa village and for our rural internet clients in the surrounding areas.
From day one of the lock down all of our clients who use fibre optic connections have enjoyed a FREE UPGRADE to 100Mbps and 300Mbps symmetric connections without any extra charge. We have also upgraded our high speed rural internet package to 30Mbps, again FREE OF CHARGE. So from now on when you become an Axarfusion customer you will receive these faster internet speeds, the highest offered in the area.
As many of you will already know, our office in Competa village is now open. You will notice that when you come in things are a little different. We must protect both our staff and customers, with this in mind we have counter fitted with protective screens. Only one person may enter the office at a time, this will help to maintain social distancing. There is also hand gel available for your use.
We would also like to remind everyone that we are always available via Telephone, WhatsApp, Email and Facebook to help in any way without the need to visit the office.
