In February of this year they made their move to Spain permanent and came out to renovate their town house in Competa. Feroza and Graham are a great believer that people do like the traditional to look at but to stay in,they like fresh, new and modern. From the outside the Bed and Breakfast is still a tall narrow townhouse just off the main plaza but that’s it. They have renovated it all to a top quality spec with a contemporary look. All rooms have air-con, TV and an top quality mattresses to provide a good nights sleep along with modern en suite bathrooms. The internal areas have all been cleverly lit and designed for light to flood through the building from top to bottom. On the roof terrace they have a full bar where between 7pm and 8pm every day they have Happy Hour where all guest meet for a chat & have free drinks (local wines and beers) . This and breakfast is included in the 75 euro a night rate they charge per room.
They opened their doors at the beginning of August this year and have been almost full ever since. The Spanish have been particularly complementary and have already written some great reviews on Booking.com & Trip adviser. They are also booked in October with part of a wedding party and they looked forward to a busy winter.
Do take a look at their website http://www.almijararesidence.com/as there are photos that show what a beautiful job Feroza and Graham have done and what a lovely place it is to stay in the heart of the traditional white washed village of Competa.
